Kushare wins high jump silver, Parul takes steeplechase bronze at Asian Games

India's Sarvesh Kushare claimed silver in the men's high jump at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, clearing 2.25m in rainy conditions to finish level with Chinese Taipei's Fu Chao-hsuan, who took gold on countback. Parul Chaudhary secured bronze in the women's 3000m steeplechase with a national-record 9:08.67, as Bahrain's Winfred Yavi won gold in a Games-record 9:04.36.
