Mumbai Police Deny CJP Permission for October 2 Protest Against CEC

Mumbai Police on Sunday denied the Cockroach Janta Party permission to hold an October 2 protest at Shivaji Park against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, citing High Court directives, lack of BMC clearance, and traffic concerns. CJP co-founder Abhijeet Dipke said the party would launch a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' in Mumbai on Gandhi Jayanti if the right to protest is denied.
