The US will not impose tariffs on certain specialty drugs and ingredients from India and 19 other countries, including the EU, Japan, and South Korea. The exemption covers treatments for rare diseases, infertility, cell and gene therapies, and antibody-drug conjugates. It follows Trump's April proclamation under Section 232, which imposed a 100% tariff on patented pharmaceuticals from September 29.
