A Myanmar military airstrike on a market in Kyauktaw, Rakhine state, killed at least 33 people and wounded 36 on Monday, according to rebel and rescue officials. The Arakan Army said a fighter jet dropped two bombs on the region's main wholesale hub. Nearly half a million people are displaced in Rakhine amid the post-2021 coup civil war.
