Senate Passes Bipartisan Bill to Regulate College Sports

The Senate passed the Protect College Sports Act 77-22, a bipartisan bill to regulate athlete name, image and likeness payments and transfers. It grants the NCAA new authority and limited antitrust protections. The bill, negotiated by Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell, now heads to the House. Donald Trump praised the vote.
