NIA Arrests 13 in JMB-Linked Terror Network Across Three States

The National Investigation Agency arrested 13 people in coordinated searches at 16 locations across Assam, West Bengal and Kerala, accusing them of aiding an offshoot of the banned Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh. Eight were held in Assam, four in West Bengal and one in Kerala. The group allegedly radicalised youth and spread extremist ideology through digital platforms and secret meetings.
