New York state prosecutors have reopened an investigation into the alleged drugging and rape of a female Cornell University student at a Chi Phi fraternity house in October 2024. The woman, identified as Jane Doe, filed a 101-page civil lawsuit on 16 September against the university and seven men, alleging assault and that Cornell failed to protect her or adequately punish those involved.
