OpenAI has launched 'dots', a new AI agent, less than 24 hours after scrapping its GPT-6.1 Astra model over safety concerns. Announced by CEO Sam Altman at the developer conference in San Francisco, dots can autonomously schedule meetings, book flights, and assign tasks. The tool, powered by GPT-6 Astra, will compete with Meta's recently released Muse agent.
