Jaishankar Warns of '4F Crisis' Hitting Global South

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has warned of a '4F crisis' — food, fuel, fertiliser and finance — that is hitting the Global South particularly hard. Speaking at the UN General Assembly and the Asia Society in New York, he said these interconnected pressures, worsened by conflict and supply chain disruptions, threaten development goals. He called for diversified supply chains and reforms to global institutions.
