India Warns Citizens Against Joining Russian Armed Forces

India's Ministry of External Affairs has issued a fresh advisory warning nationals against joining the Russian armed forces, citing mortal dangers and recruitment through unregistered agents. Some Indians seek recruitment for financial benefits, with a few even renouncing citizenship. The government remains engaged with Russia for the safety and early discharge of those recruited, having secured the release of 139 Indians so far.
