Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu praised Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for extraordinary bravery after he was stabbed by a co-pilot during Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Despite serious injuries, Machchhar fought back, opened the cockpit door, and helped passengers and crew subdue the attacker, saving 174 lives. The flight made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and the co-pilot was arrested.
