Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and UAE counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke after a mid-air security incident on Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The plane diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after an alleged cockpit confrontation in which the co-pilot stabbed Indian captain Smit Machchhar. Both ministers pledged cooperation against extremist elements and confirmed the safe return of Israeli passengers.
