Measles and Malaria Outbreak Kills 32 Children in India

At least 32 children have died in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, since May amid measles and malaria outbreaks, mostly among the Baiga tribal community. Officials blame disease compounded by malnutrition and treatment delays, with remote terrain and traditional beliefs hindering access to the nearest hospital, some 70km away.
