Supreme Court to Review Immigrant Bond Hearing Policy

The Supreme Court agreed Thursday to review a Trump administration policy denying bond hearings for detained immigrants. The justices will decide whether long-term U.S. residents have a right to a hearing while challenging deportation. Nine of 11 federal circuits found such detentions violate federal law, conflicting with the 5th and 8th circuits. The ACLU represents the immigrant plaintiffs.
