Cornell University students voiced frustration at a public hearing led by the Student Assembly over safety and rape culture on campus. The hearing followed an investigation into the alleged 2024 rape of a woman, known as Jane Doe, who has filed a civil lawsuit claiming she was drugged and raped at a fraternity house. Cornell denies failing to punish those involved and has agreed to an independent review.
