G7 to release 100 million barrels of oil, diesel

The Group of Seven nations agreed Friday to release 100 million barrels of oil and fuel products, starting with a frontloaded diesel release within 20 days, after U.S. diesel hit a record $6.52 a gallon. President Trump said the diesel would come "immediately." The IEA will coordinate the effort amid the eight-month Iran war and ahead of November midterms.
