Israeli forces have blockaded Ras al-Ahmar, a Bedouin community of about 300 people in the occupied West Bank's Jordan Valley, for two weeks, cutting off water, animal feed and medical care. Residents say the barrier, which Israel calls Crimson Thread, is meant to force them off their land. Dozens of Palestinian communities have been displaced since 2023.
