The flydubai co-pilot accused of stabbing his captain mid-air on a Dubai-Tel Aviv flight had been barred from flying in Oman over security concerns, reports say. Identified as Hamam Alhamami, he was grounded by Oman Air in 2024 over alleged extremist material before later joining flydubai. The UAE is leading the investigation into the September 30 incident.
