Australia Probes Flydubai Co-Pilot's Past After Alleged Hijack Attempt

Australian security agencies are investigating the flydubai co-pilot who allegedly tried to hijack a Tel Aviv-bound flight on Wednesday. Passengers and crew subdued the co-pilot, named as Omani national Hammam al-Hammami, after the plane plunged over 16,000 feet. He had spent about two years in Australia as a student before leaving in 2017.
