An Omani co-pilot told investigators he planned to crash a flydubai jet into Ben Gurion Airport after attacking the captain on a September 30 flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The wounded captain opened the cockpit door, allowing passengers to overpower him. The aircraft diverted to Saudi Arabia, where he was detained. The UAE calls it a terrorist attack.
