ONOE JPC Chief Says Supreme Court Set, Cancelled Meeting

One Nation, One Election JPC chief P.P. Chaudhary said the Supreme Court itself scheduled an October 6 interaction with the panel via a September 22 email, then cancelled it, prompting the committee to call off its visit. He said the proposed interaction was informal and should not be escalated. The JPC is examining two bills framing simultaneous polls.
