California Kinsey Ranch Protected After 112 Years

The Northcoast Regional Land Trust has completed a conservation easement on the 6,625-acre Kinsey Ranch in Benbow, California, permanently protecting it from development. The family bought the land in 1914, and it remains a working cattle ranch with over five miles of river habitat for endangered salmon. The easement ensures protection even if the ranch changes hands.
