Amnesty Report Alleges Morocco Used Pegasus to Spy on Journalists

Amnesty International has published a report alleging Morocco's DGST deployed Pegasus spyware against journalists, activists and lawyers between 2017 and 2021, based on a whistleblower's testimony. Journalist Omar Radi, among four detailed cases, says he was targeted while investigating land dispossession. Moroccan authorities have previously denied the allegations and did not respond to Amnesty's request for comment.
