Samoa's Prime Minister Laaulialemalietoa Leuatea Schmidt has apologized after a 2007 video showed him giving a Nazi salute and saying "Heil Hitler" at a family gathering. Schmidt said his actions were inappropriate and rejected Nazism and antisemitism. The footage, first reported by the Samoa Observer, was filmed when he was deputy speaker.
