An Israeli dentist treated Captain Smit Machchhar for 45 minutes after he was stabbed by co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami on a flydubai flight to Tel Aviv. Dr Shota Musaev used T-shirts and ice to control severe bleeding from the pilot's head and hand while keeping him conscious. Machchhar is recovering in a UAE hospital.
