Kagan and Soai Win Nobel Chemistry Prize for Mirror-Image Molecules

Henri B Kagan and Kenso Soai have been awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for developing methods to control molecular chirality, producing desired mirror-image forms of molecules. Their work, dating back to the 1980s and 2003, has been crucial for drug development. The prize includes 12 million Swedish kronor (about $1.2 million).
