South Korea launched its first mission of 2026 on Tuesday night, sending 15 satellites to orbit atop the homegrown Nuri rocket from Naro Space Center. The Korea Aerospace Research Institute said all but one payload reached low Earth orbit as planned. Five are NEONSAT Earth-observation microsatellites, each under 100 kilograms with cameras resolving objects as small as one meter.
