British adventurer Karl Bushby returns to UK after 28-year walk

Karl Bushby, a 57-year-old former paratrooper, has reached British soil after nearly 28 years walking almost 50,000 km from Chile toward his mother's home near Hull. He crossed the English Channel by swimming in stages, spending about 20 hours in the water. Roughly 250 miles remain before he completes the journey in November.
