Omar Abdullah Challenges BJP to Bring UCC to Parliament

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah challenged the BJP to introduce a Uniform Civil Code bill in Parliament rather than implementing it state by state, saying a law cannot be called uniform when applied selectively. He said J&K would not implement the UCC, as the Centre pushes rollout across NDA-ruled states before 2029.
