US federal prosecutors are expected to file additional charges against former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, accusing them of involvement in the torture of Americans detained in Venezuelan prisons. The charges could be announced as soon as Thursday. The couple, captured in a US raid in Caracas in January, already face drug and weapons charges, which they deny.
