Life Insurers Seen Posting 10-20% VNB Growth in Q2FY27

Indian life insurers are projected to grow value of new business by 10-20% year-on-year in the second quarter of FY27, Kotak Institutional Equities said. Private insurers may see 10-15% APE growth and 6-18% VNB gains, while LIC is expected to outpace peers with 320 basis points of margin expansion and a 40% VNB surge.
