Two new bus routes will launch in Wirral on 25 October as Merseyside's bus network returns to public control for the first time in 40 years. The 453 service will link Irby and Heswall to Clatterbridge Hospital, while the 483/484 circular will connect Arrowe Park Hospital with West Kirby, Meols, Hoylake, Moreton and Upton. The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority will oversee routes, fares and timetables.
