BJP MP Says Parliament, Not Streets, Will Govern India

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said Indian democracy has thwarted attempts to incite anarchy, asserting the country is governed by Parliament, not the streets, after Opposition protests in Delhi. He cited BJP wins in Assam, Nandigram and Puducherry. Around 1,000 protesters were detained while marching to Jantar Mantar demanding the Election Commissioner's resignation.
