Winchester College, one of Britain's most academically prestigious boarding schools, has returned to pen and paper for most classwork and homework, citing concerns that laptops in lessons hinder learning. Since September last year, pupils aged 13 to 18 may use laptops only when clearly beneficial, while those aged 9-10 and 13-15 must complete homework by hand.
