CJI Surya Kant Rejects INDIA Bloc Meeting Request on Poll Irregularities

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant has rejected the INDIA bloc's request for a meeting to submit a representation on alleged electoral irregularities, saying the matter is already sub judice and should be raised through a petition. A reasoned response was emailed to opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, ahead of their planned march to the Supreme Court on October 12.
