CJI Kant: Don't drag Supreme Court into political battles

Chief Justice Surya Kant on Monday said the Supreme Court should not be dragged into political battlefields, after declining a private meeting with Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge over their "vote chori" charge. The bench listed petitions on protest obstruction and alleged police excesses for Tuesday, stressing lawyers and litigants must move freely.
