L Murugan has resigned as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, and from the Rajya Sabha, to work full-time on strengthening the BJP in Tamil Nadu. He said he wants to prepare the party for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections and return to the grassroots.
