B R Shetty, founder of NMC Healthcare, has filed a $15 billion damages suit in the Bombay High Court against Bank of Baroda and 25 others, alleging fund diversion, concealed liabilities, and forged guarantees. The suit seeks $5 billion each in direct and consequential damages, plus $5 billion for reputational harm. The bank has not responded.
