A foreign national, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, was beaten to death by a crowd of about 50 people in Durban, South Africa, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The killing follows a wave of anti-migrant protests this year, some of which turned violent, with shops and cars set on fire in Durban and Soweto.
