Oregon teacher survived shooting by pretending to be dead

A teacher wounded in the 15 October shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, said she pretended to be dead so the gunman would not shoot her again. Becky Drury said she was shot as she tried to close her classroom door and could not protect her students. A 16-year-old former student killed three children and a teacher before a parent fatally shot him.
