Jimmy Anderson set to retire as Lancashire end contract

Jimmy Anderson is expected to retire at 44 after Lancashire told him his contract will not be renewed for next season. The decision follows a county campaign in which he took 50 wickets at 17.68 but the club finished second-bottom of Division Two. Anderson, England's record Test wicket-taker with 704, ends with 1,193 first-class wickets.
