Shares of Muthoot Finance, Manappuram and IIFL Finance rose up to 8% on November 4 after gold jumped as much as 2.5% to near $4,030 an ounce, its biggest intraday gain since August. A softer dollar, which hit a one-month low after Democrats swept the US midterms, made bullion cheaper for overseas buyers.
