India's Union Cabinet has approved an additional two-year engagement for 75 percent of Agniveers who would have exited after their initial four-year tenure, Chief of Defence Staff General N S Raja Subramani said. The decision follows reviews and positive feedback on the first batches. After six years, willing personnel can seek full enrolment based on selection criteria.
