British Ebola patient evacuated from DR Congo to UK

A British healthcare worker who tested positive for Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is being evacuated to the UK for treatment. The patient, in stable condition, will be transferred to a specialist high-consequence infectious disease unit. The worker had been deployed by a humanitarian organisation to help respond to the outbreak, now the largest in DR Congo's history.
