MIAL proposes shifting 14 international routes to Navi Mumbai

Mumbai International Airport Ltd has proposed moving flights on 14 international routes to Navi Mumbai International Airport, mostly to Gulf and Asian destinations, to consolidate services at one airport. The Adani-operated operator aims to shift about five million passengers annually, roughly 9% of capacity, to free space for Terminal 1 redevelopment. Foreign airlines have backed a destination-based shift, with the change tied to the Summer 2027 schedule.
