Gold extended its rebound above $4,100 an ounce after jumping more than 3% on Wednesday, its biggest gain since August, as a Democratic sweep of Congress in the US midterm elections pushed the dollar and Treasury yields lower. Lower yields and a weaker dollar support bullion, though gold remains down more than a fifth since the US-Iran war began in late February.
