Chandrasekaran meets Meloni after Tata Motors buys 89.42% of Iveco

Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome on Wednesday, with Tata Motors' acquisition of an 89.42% stake in Iveco Group taking centre stage. The nearly 3.43 billion euro deal makes Iveco an indirect Tata Motors subsidiary, creating a commercial vehicle group present in over 130 countries with combined revenues of 21 billion euros.
