India is in final negotiations to sell the Philippines about five BrahMos missile systems, roughly 60 missiles, in a deal worth $700–800 million. Manila is expanding coastal defences amid South China Sea tensions and is nearing completion of deliveries under its first $375 million BrahMos order signed in 2022. Philippine officials confirmed interest in acquiring more units.
