Europe-wide protests target datacentres over AI costs

More than 100 campaign groups across 15 European countries will stage two days of protests against datacentres on Friday and Saturday, calling for a moratorium on large AI projects. Organisers cite environmental and social costs, with events planned in Warsaw, Dublin, Denmark, Amsterdam and east London. Groups including Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth back the action.
