Oman, Iran discuss resuming navigation through Strait of Hormuz

Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Busaidi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed efforts to resume navigation through the Strait of Hormuz without obstacles in a Thursday call. Both sides stressed sustainable understandings to ensure maritime safety, trade and energy flows, and to prevent further regional confrontations, Oman's foreign ministry said.
